Is it advisable to go in summer with kids and senior citizens?
To catch the sunset at Velneshwar when should we leave from Satara?
I will suggest not to go if temperature is above 30 C. You can leave Satara by 8 AM. Drive safely!

In which hotel resort did u stay at velneshwar/hedvi? I am planning to go but on internet there isn't sufficient information regarding hotels.
We want to live at beach side resorts or mtdc hotel. I've heard that there is hotel of mtdc at velneshwar. Is it good to stay? or what are options to get beachside resorts at hedvi?
at hedvi when i visited last no hotels but if you wish to stay in bunglows private you will find allover kokan area,local people have created places to stay.
